Inspiration And Life Purpose.

Each of us was born with inspiration and dreams to create a life of fulfillment and joy. So why are so many of us left standing in confusion and so easily influenced by our environment to become something we are not. If you find yourself asking the question: Surely, there must be something more fulfilling than this?
Then it is clear that you still haven't found what you are looking for. Because when the deepest part of you becomes immersed in what you enjoy doing, when you feel empowered, in a flow and on purpose, you are not only left inspired, you are 'powerful beyond measure'. It is time to put the heart and spirit back into everything we do and to rediscover the joy that exists in living our own truths. The more we are willing to become our authentic selves and honor our passion for life and continued growth we can expand beyond who we are and seize our genuine desire to make a difference.
Inspiration is not simply a state of creativity it is more so a state of enlightenment. When you are inspired you have the ability to lift people with you as you focus on the exact thing(s) you were born to do. The only things that can stand in the way of us living our innermost dreams is the reasons we keep telling ourselves of why we cannot experience them. Most importantly, we have to let ourselves feel worthy of our own desires so that we can release our deepest fears and doubts. It is these doubts that kill opportunity with our very own hands and so we must always focus beyond ourselves to find a greater purpose for our existence and the unique gifts we were born with. The greater the importance of our purpose and legacy, the less doubt we will manifest and the less resistance we will encounter.
We must choose the life we want for ourselves and not simply accept the life that chooses us, because if we don't do what is best for us, we are the ones who will end up with the regret. Remember that the story of your life is one that only you have to be able to stand for. So seek the satisfaction of your life and of your path, so that you are only doing what you were meant to be doing!

What Does Personal Development Affect?

The Personal Development industry is an important one and yet, many people don't recognize the need for it in their life. Maybe it is the perception they have about Personal Development, or maybe they just are not aware of the possibilities for themselves. These are both true for some people. It seems though, the biggest misunderstanding people have is the affect Personal Development has on our life, on every aspect of our life. Luckily, as you read further, you will never have this misunderstanding again.
From the beginning of your life, development has been key to your growth and accomplishments.
This is completely natural. In fact, anyone that doesn't go through stages of development, has what society refers to as a physical or emotional handicap. Development is a fundamental part of your life. Life itself is growth. All things living are growing; plants, marine life, insects and humans. If you are alive (and if you're reading this, we know you are so don't deny it) you must develop.
If we know that, it's not surprising that we are all wired with the desire to grow and progress. We are often asked, what is the best way to be happy or fulfilled? The answer is simple, grow and progress. That doesn't mean you have to be perfect, it means you have to make progress.
In your own life, isn't this true? If you are 50 pounds overweight and you do nothing about it, you obviously are not happy about it, but you don't have to lose all 50 pounds either. You begin to feel happy and proud the moment you get yourself to take some kind of action. If you manage to take consistent actions, the emotions intensify don't they? Let's say doing this gets you to lose 25 pounds over 3 months. How do you feel about it? Pretty darn good, huh?
Some will say, oh but there are still 25 pounds of fat hanging over your waist line! What the heck are you happy about?
You are happy because you made progress. You grew as a person by being consistent and committed. You have every right to be happy. Actually, you should be celebrating more, because you are growing and progressing- you are living!
When we become adults though, something very strange happens. We believe that our mental development can or should slow. Some believe when we graduate school, mental development is over. This idea is counter to the design of life, yet it is something that huge numbers of people believe and it's no wonder so many people do not feel happy or fulfilled with their life.
This consciousness sets the scene for something equally bizarre. When we hear someone talking about a book, audio program, educational series, or seminar we immediately label that as woo woo, weird, a scam, and often we belittle the people trying to go through this process. We must make sure this process is wrong because if we don't, then the spotlight is on us for not participating.
What topics can you find help with in the personal development industry? Everything you can imagine. You may want to develop a more positive outlook, expand the love in your relationship, be better at communicating, sharpen your leadership skills, create inspiration in your life, learn real estate investing, master paper asset investing, become a more effective sales person, improve your time management skills, learn a particular trade or skill, learn how to utilize the internet for your business, stop smoking, lose weight, the list literally could go on forever.
Here is the really amazing part. No matter what area you pick to develop, all the other areas of your life will be positively impacted as well. You cannot become a more effective leader without also becoming a better parent, business person, and spouse. It isn't possible to learn to be more positive and inspired each day without becoming a better sales person and helping others to do the same.
At the end of the day you are the single most common constant in your life. It only makes sense to develop you every day!

Positivity Is Contagious!

Are you a movie buff? Do you enjoy going to a theater, watching a movie and getting caught up in the plot and relating with the characters whilst leaving your own "plot" behind? When you watch a movie, does the fear of the situation cause your heart to race and your palms to sweat? These are examples of how energy and feelings are contagious.
And have you noticed that when you are with someone who is negative, you feel negative too? This frequently happens when someone is talking in a negative way, or complaining, about someone or a situation. Listening to the negativity and the complaints is not an uplifting, positive experience. But listening to someone speak about what is positive about a situation or a person can lift our hearts and our moods and then we feel positive as well.
Have you ever been in a lackluster, dull mood and then spent some time with a friend who was happy and in a positive frame of mind? Did you find that your friend's positivity was contagious? I have witnessed that situation and experienced it as well.
In meetings with friends, at work or with family members, we can have an effect on the emotional tone of the gathering. Our positive outlook can transform a negative atmosphere. The next time you are with one person or a group of people, and the discussion becomes negative with gossip or ill will, try turning it around by speaking about the positive qualities of the person the other people are gossiping about.
At work, if colleagues are speaking negatively about a change in procedure, introduce what might be some positive outcomes of the change and watch how being positive can be contagious.
We can sometimes fall into feeling negative without even realizing what is happening. With mindfulness and an understanding of the interactions between a couple of people or a group of people, we can turn negative energy into positive energy.
Do you have a friend or family member who is negative most of the time? Try turning the interaction around by being positive and see whether being positive is contagious.
How we think about and respond to situations is our choice. We have a choice to be negative or to be positive. Negativity breeds more negativity. Positivity breeds more positivity. Each person's positivity has an effect on the people they are with - positivity is contagious!

Positivity In The Workplace - How Does It Help?

It is of prime importance to have a positive attitude towards life. Positive attitude helps maintain a healthy balance between both personal and professional life. When you are part of a workplace, it does not mean that you have to be unsociable or unfriendly. Being too distant gives negative vibes, which can eventually affect your performance and the impact you have on those around you.
To create an aura of positivity around you, it is important to stay positive yourself. Be open to discussion and opinion. This gives people a comfortable feeling when they interact with you. Fostering interaction amongst employees at all levels has a large number of benefits.
1. Better Performance
Interaction between employee and supervisor is extremely important. When the two are comfortable with each other, they can openly discuss problems and find solutions to them. This leads to quicker problem solving and hence, better performance. This is only possible if the supervisor and employee both take things positively.
2. Better Professional Relations
When you take things positively, you spread positive vibes. This positive attitude helps maintain healthy professional relationships. Whether it is your subordinate, your supervisor or someone at the executive level, everyone receives positivity for you. This means you can help people be happier at the workplace.
3. Better Leader
Everyone loves those people who are positive and friendly. These traits are essential to be a good leader. Whether you have a team under you or an entire department, your subordinates will feel good to have you as their team lead. Positivity allows you to appreciate, motivate and encourage others. This can eventually bring out the best in each individual who works with you.
4. Better Time Management
A positive attitude towards everything helps to ward off the effect of possible negative energies around you. Positivity is one of the tools to energize body and brain. When you think positive, your brain works faster and you can reach your targets in time. You are better able to manage your time under pressure.
Positivity at the workplace helps your career. You are able to meet your career goals faster than those who think negatively. That being said, it is important to know what provides negative energy protection. Positivity and openness energize body and mind. Moreover, these two are great sources of negative energy protection.

Finding Your Purpose With Confidence And Positivity.

Let's talk about your mindset and building confidence, having a confident attitude. Having confidence and believing in yourself can take you very far in life, further than you can possibly imagine. Whatever your goal, being confident, keeping a clear and positive focus, and eliminating negativity can mean the difference between success and failure! This is a basic and vitally important piece of the puzzle whenever you are seeking to make changes for the better. You have to believe in yourself and your ability to attain your objective.
Some people seem to be born with a confident attitude. For others, confidence is built over time through their attitudes and their past experience of themselves and their relationship to the world. Now, by confidence, I don't just mean the general "being confident around others," but rather being confident of the fact that you and your life have purpose. If you maintain a positive attitude, live life to the fullest, and treat others with dignity and respect, you are already demonstrating both purpose and confidence.
So what can you do to develop a more confident and positive mindset? One thing you can do is to make a list of all the things you are good at, whatever they might be, whether it's cooking or playing an instrument. Write absolutely everything down no matter how small. It all counts. Next, I want you to add any achievements you've managed to attain over the course of your life so far, even if it's a simple certificate for winning a spelling bee when you were 5, or learning to ride a bike. Look over this list and feel proud because you should be! Continue to add to this list over time, as you continue to achieve successes.
Other ways to develop confidence:
  • Make an effort to look your best. When you look your best, it changes the way you carry yourself and interact with other people. When you dress well and pay attention to your grooming, it affects how you feel about yourself. Making an effort to look your best automatically gives you more confidence.

  • Speak Up. Often we don't speak up because we're afraid that others will judge us for saying something stupid. Generally, people are much more accepting than that. Moreover, others are often dealing with the exact same fears. Make an effort to speak up in group situations. You'll develop more confidence in your ideas and improve your public speaking skills.

  • Work out. The many benefits of physical fitness are too numerous to go into at length here. Bottom line: being in shape gives you more confidence in yourself, your abilities, your energy, and improves your mood and mental capabilities. It's all good news.

  • Focus on contribution. The more you contribute to the world the better you'll feel about yourself. An added bonus is that contributions are often rewarded with more personal success and recognition. These, in turn, increase your feelings of self-confidence.

  • Posture. The way you carry yourself tells the world how you feel about yourself. Practicing good posture automatically helps you feel more confident. Stand up straight, keep your head up, and make eye contact. You'll make a positive impression on others and instantly feel more alert and empowered.
Building confidence and having a positive attitude is crucial when it comes to reaching goals. We all want abundance in life. Whether it's with our families or at work, we all want to be successful. The secret key to unlocking your happiness and success is learning how to be more positive in every sense of the way.
The truth is that your happiness and success lie within your own hands. Always believe in yourself and your unique value. In the end, having self-confidence and a positive attitude are an inside job and that's good news, because you're in charge of what goes on in your mind and feelings. So we're back to mindset.
Henry Ford said: "Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, - you're right." Wise words.

Success Through A Positive Mental Attitude.

Success through a positive mental attitude might be hard to understand for some, especially if you're looking for an explanation based on pure logic and science.
However, when you think of it deeply, you'll understand that developing a positive attitude can get things done for you. It works like magic.
When you think positively, you surround yourself with positive energy. It's not visible to the eyes but everyone can feel it, including the people around you.
What's more comforting is that positive thinking is contagious. Those around you will be affected by the good vibes and their moods will lighten.
Maintaining a positive attitude can get people to like you. And when they like you, they'll help you when you need them. That's one of the ways on how to achieve success through thinking positively.
Some people may find it hard how to think positively. Sometimes they can't help but think of failures and other negative what-if ideas.
Developing a positive attitude can be very easy if you let the bad energy go away and submit yourself to optimism.
Here are some tips on how to achieve success through a positive mental attitude:
1. When a negative idea comes into mind, you must have the discipline to stop it in its tracks and instead replace it with thoughts that are more positive and inspiring. A person that is inundated with negative thoughts and feelings will ultimately lead a life of struggle and despair.
2. Do not let fear enter your mind. Also, never let a lack of faith enter your heart. These emotions can cripple your chances of success. Again, when you think those negative emotions are starting to develop, stop them immediately by thinking of happy things, past success, and motivational strength.
3. When conversing with other people, use positive words such as "I can do it" and "It's possible". Talking to other people in a positive and optimistic manner is one step towards success through a positive mental attitude.
4. Read an inspiring positive quote that can give you strength of mind and heart everyday. You can make a box or a bowl of rolled pieces of paper with the quotes written on them. When I feel a little overwhelmed or just down in the mouth, reading some inspiring quotes can be hugely motivational and uplifting.
5. When making any plans, concentrate on a positive outcome by trying to visualize your success.
6. Avoid people who give out negative energy. These people are the world's eternal pessimists. You know the ones... those who see the downside to everything. These are also those people who are expert in giving negative and derogatory comments to everything, but cannot appreciate things or works that are obviously deserving of praise. Optimism is sure to be contagious but so is negative thinking.
7. In relation with the previous tip, mingle with people who give out positive energy. They can be your family members, your friends or your co-workers. You can see them as your inspiration to be a more optimistic version of you.
8. Make sure that you eat balanced diet and that you exercise regularly. Living a healthy and active lifestyle improves the way we look, feel and act. All this helps reinforce a happy and positive attitude.
9. During your break from work or studies, read novels with a positive plot. Same goes when watching movies. Choose the movies that make you feel good, happy and empowered. Good feelings can lead you straight to success through a positive mental attitude.
Having a positive outlook or disposition in life is crucial if you want to succeed.
Whatever you set out to achieve in life, your level of success will ultimately be determined by your state of mind.
"It is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult task which, more than anything else, will affect its successful outcome."
Success through a positive mental attitude will always win the day. So get your attitude right and your destiny and success is all but taken care of!

Ten Ways To Develop A More Positive Outlook.

1. Face challenges and difficulties, don't run away from them: When difficulty arises in an area of your life, rather than turn away and try to ignore it, face it and overcome it however you can. Don't leave work undone, do it and feel the achievement that you get from it. Don't allow guilt to control your mind and make you depressed.
2. Learn to see the world from other peoples' points of view: When in conversation with someone, rather than wait for your turn to speak, actually listen to them and get to know them. See conversation as an opportunity to learn about them, not compete with them.
3. Be responsible for you successes and failures: Analyze each of your successes and ask yourself what factors enabled you to succeed, then take note and learn. Do the same for your failures, always keep learning and developing.
4. Focus on the good: We tend to see what's wrong in the world before we see what's right. Practice seeing the good more.
5. Enjoy yourself: It sounds simple but surprisingly we do settle for much less than we deserve. Get out there and enjoy yourself because that's what life is about isn't it, growth, experience, enjoyment, make each day a celebration of your life even in times of adversity.
6. Work on your strengths or lose them: What are your strengths? Are you developing them? Identify your strength areas and then constantly improve them as well as your weaknesses, otherwise they will degrade and you'll lose them.
7. See yourself as someone who succeeds in tough situations: Visualize yourself being successful and achieving that which you want. Many of us create a negative picture of our future and fear what is to come. Create a positive future for yourself in your mind as this will stimulate your subconscious mind to take positive action for you.
8. Choose and observe your attitudes: The attitude you have at any time is up to you. Ask yourself this question, "Are you consciously choosing how you feel about situations or are you allowing situations to dictate how you feel? Practice choosing your attitudes, if you normally have a bad attitude in the morning then try having a good attitude instead. Observe your attitudes throughout the day and their effects on others.
9. Look after your body too!: Are you in the habit of driving to the shop on the corner a 5 minute walk away from you? Take care of your body as it is the only one you get. If it breaks down, so do you. Simple.
10. It's never too late: Develop the attitude that it is never too late to begin anything. What is something that you are interested in starting? Take that first step and do it because that's what life is for, trying new things, growing and taking chances.
Cultivate a positive mental attitude and watch how the world changes to match your outlook, for it's not the circumstances themselves that are so bad, it's our attitude towards them that make them so. As Shakespeare once said, "There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so."
